Genus|Panthera-Linda McGannAfter dwelling on this clip for quite some time, music manuscripts thrown aside, cups of coffee at 3am and plenty of ‘I can’t do this’ moments, i refused to give up! So here it goes…glad i didn’t quit. Genus Panthera is a short clip created by the Cue Tube. This is a documentary based on the ‘Great Cats’ of our world. My composition uses gentle melodic passages gradually building on orchestration with the use of tuba, layering synth pads, cello and bass drum. I have kept in mind the voice of the narrator in the hopes i didn’t overpower the dialogue!
